IEC Asia-Pacific Regional Centre
IEC Asia-Pacific Regional Centre (IEC-APRC) is the focal point for the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) in the Asia-Pacific region. It supports all IEC Members as well as Affiliates via the IEC Affiliate Country Programme.
The mission of IEC-APRC, located in Singapore is to:
- promote awareness of IEC in the region
- increase the adoption and use of IEC International Standards and the IEC Conformity Assessment Systems by governments and local industries
- enhance participation and active contributions of all countries in the region to IEC work.
All the above will be achieved through active communication with industry and governments in the region. Located in the research and development hub in Singapore, the IEC-APRC offers meeting facilities, including offices, internet access and telephone.

Training, Seminars and Workshops
IEC-APRC coordinates and organizes trainings, seminars, events and workshops that meet the needs of the region in terms of tools and technical areas.
