Collection of justifications and rationales in emission limit setting

 

Remark:

This publication is a collection of technical reports that serve as background and supporting information. It contains justifications and rationales for emission limits used in other CISPR documents. Over the years, CISPR sub-committees have generally set their own process for deciding on a new limit or an amendment to a limit and these discussions have generally not been widely shared with other committees and not been transparently documented for the end users of the standards. This paper shall be filled with all new limit setting justifications including all material and parameters necessary to fully reconstruct the procedure. Going forward CISPR intends that future emission limits shall be developed in accordance with CISPR TR 16-4-4. Furthermore this report also contains limit setting rationales of the past, where CISPR TR 16-4-4 has not been applied.
