Railway applications – Fixed installations – Electronic power converter
To develop 5 parts of IEC 62590:
• IEC 62590-1, Railway applications – Fixed installations – Electronic power converters, Part 1: General (NP proposed by DE NC, based on IEC 62590),
• IEC 62590-2-1: DC traction applications – Uncontrolled rectifiers (NP proposed by DE NC, based on IEC 62589),
• IEC 62590-2-2: DC traction applications – Controlled rectifiers, inverters & DC/DC converters (NP proposed by DE NC),
• IEC 62590-3-1: AC traction applications – Electronic power compensators (NP proposed by JP NC),
• IEC 62590-3-2: AC traction applications – Static frequency converters (NP proposed by DE NC).
