AG 1

Advisory Group concerning the coordination, planning and steering of work to ensure that the Electropedia remains fit for purpose

 

To assist the Chair and Secretariat concerning the coordination, planning and steering of work to ensure that the Electropedia remains fit for purpose. In the first instance, taking into consideration the aim of the Electropedia defined in the IEC Supplement to the ISO/IEC Directives, Annex SK, AG 1 will consider how to implement “A strategic plan for Electropedia” with the three priority targets:



1. improve the contents of Electropedia entries;

2. extend the kinds and the number of the intended users of Electropedia;

3. include in Electropedia definitions in languages other than English and French.



It will advise on any changes necessary to the IEC Supplement to the ISO/IEC Directives, Annex SK.



The purpose of the AG is not to prepare standards.
