Title & Task
WG 3
Automatic floor treatment machines for commercial use
WG 3 is setting the framework for a future safety standard which specifies safety requirements and their verification for the design and construction of automatic battery powered electrical floor treatment machines with traction drive for commercial use and their peripherals, e.g. docking stations, with the rated voltage of the battery being not more than 75 V d.c. charged by mains electrical. The standard will deal with all the significant hazards presented by battery powered automatic floor treatment machines with traction drive for commercial use and their peripherals when they are used as intended.
