Tensile test and electro-mechanical properties of composite superconductors

 

To develop a method related to tensile testing of Cu/Nb-Ti
composite superconductors at room temperature, by which yield
stress, tensile strength and elongation are assessed.
Applicable composite superconductors are single-filamentary or
multifilamentary wires, which have a round or rectangular area
cross section of less than about 1mm2.
