CAG - Chairman's Advisory Group

Task of the CAG is to assist the chair and secretariat in questions concerning coordination, planning and steering of the committee’s work or other specific tasks of an advisory nature including
- draft documents for strategy, program and overall time schedule of IEC TC5
- proposals related to the drafting or harmonization of publications
(in particular International Standards, Technical Specifications, Publicly Available Specifications and Technical Reports)
- preparation of TC 5 plenary meetings
- review of inquiries in between plenary meetings
- exchange of experience between the different MTs and WGs within IEC TC 5
- support for initiation of liaisons to other IEC TCs or ISO TCs
