With the peak of Omicron behind us in most areas of the world, travel, face-to-face meetings and events are on the rise.
Meetings at IEC Secretariat and elsewhere
Based on recent decisions of the Swiss Federal Government, IEC governance and technical meetings can be held face-to-face, hybrid or virtually. Of course, the IEC remains vigilant, and will regularly review the situation and provide updates, since COVID is likely to stay with us for the foreseeable future.
IEC standardization meetings are listed in the weekly updated IEC meetings & events pages, (except working group meetings); for meetings that are not listed, please contact the respective Chair or Convenor. Links to IEC CA Systems meetings can be found here.
Training
Training continues to be delivered through the IEC Academy Learning Platform, public webinars and on demand for virtual, face-to-face, hybrid or customised training by contacting academy@iec.ch.
IEC Secretariat
In line with the IEC Secretariat teleworking policy, IEC staff are allowed to work in the office and from home.
IEC Regional Centres
Work and meetings conditions subject to local laws and regulations.
Travel
Possible if permitted and practicable under relevant international and local laws and regulations.
