The ISO/IEC Directives, Part 2, provide the framework for the drafting of documents that are going to be published as International Standards, Technical Reports or Technical Specifications.

A new version of the ISO/IEC Directives Part 2 has been published and will be effective from October 2011. The essential differences between the 2004 edition and the 2011 edition are explained in the Foreword.
