If, after the FDIS vote, the publication is approved, no more changes of a technical nature can be made to it. Only obvious editorial mistakes can be corrected.

The IEC generates the cover pages and prepares the document for publication. Then the document is published, normally within 1,5 months of approval of the FDIS, and put on sale in the IEC Web Store.
