This is a section with a brief explanation of the different types of IEC publications.

How we work

The “How we work” section covers the management structure governing the IEC technical work along with all the IEC technical and subcommittees and their activities e.g. structure, work programme, publications, and documents etc. Information is also given on the IEC partners covering organizations in cooperation with the IEC and organizations with TC/SC liaisons.

TC/SC resource area

Finally the “Resource” section has information on the roles and responsibilities of the TC/SC chairmen and secretaries and all the tools and applications needed for facilitating the IEC technical work e.g Expert Management System (EMS), Collaboration Tool Suite (CTS), New docs etc.

 

An important part of this section is the one on reference materials with the IEC statutes, directives along with the decisions of the governing bodies i.e. Council, Standardization Management Board (SMB) etc.
