How the IEC works
Strong national participation is key
To defend the national interests of a country and give industry a strong voice in the IEC, the NC (National Committee) must ensure that it fully and actively represents all national electrotechnical interests.
Representing national interests globally
National experts can join IEC standardization work through their NC. This is the best way to share and disseminate national technology development and influence global trends and markets. Countries and their companies that participate in IEC work, have a head-start over those that don’t.
