IECEE and Factory Inspection Work

The IECEE held its kick-off Factory Inspection Committee (FIC) Meeting, in Milan, Italy on 14 September 2007.

The meeting, which was held at the IMQ headquarters in Milan, brought together around 40 delegates and representatives from some 30 IECEE member countries.

The meeting enabled IECEE members to share their experiences on the trial use of the Initial Factory Audit/Inspection OD-CB2008, the survey of NCBs’ Factory Inspection "differences" when acting as Issuing NCBs and Recognizing NCBs, and the setting-up of a working group to develop dedicated procedures and guidelines on factory and audits and inspections.
