The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) is pleased to announce that the first IECEx Conformity Mark License (Ex Mark) was granted to Vaisala Oyj of Finland for use on humidity and temperature transmitters designed for hazardous environments. The Ex Mark was granted by VTT, a Finland-based leading applied research organization that provides high-end technology solutions and innovation services, including IECEx certification. VTT was one of the first IECEX certification bodies approved to issue the Mark.
