The address (URL) you sent the server requests a page which does not exist on the IEC server. Many of our page addresses have changed recently, which may explain a bad address or link.

Depending on how you got to this page, here is what you can do:

  1. You followed a link from another page on the IEC site. (Ooops. Sorry!)
You'll have use our menus to reach the page you want. If you could first go BACK to the page you were on, copy the complete address (URL) and send it to the IEC webmaster, we will fix this as quickly as possible.

  2. You followed a link from a page on another site.
You will need to go to the IEC home page and use the menus to reach the page you want.
In this case, using the BACK button and informing the webmaster of the other site with the error would be a public service. You can also send the IEC webmaster the complete address (URL) of page on the other site, so that we can try to contact the other site to provide the appropriate IEC address (URL).

  3. You followed one of your own bookmarks or links from a "favorites" list.
You need to go to the IEC home page and use the menus to reach the page you want. Bookmark this (or add it to your list of favorites). Remove your old bookmark:
    • Internet Explorer:
Favorites menu > Organize your Favorites > select the old favorite and press the Delete button
    • Netscape:
Bookmarks menu > Edit Bookmarks > select the old bookmark and press the Delete button.

  4. You entered the URL directly, and made a typing mistake.
We all do this. Either retype the address correctly, or go to the IEC home page and use the menus to navigate to the page of interest.

  5. Something else
Other things can and do go wrong. If you continue to have trouble with bad links, or in finding the information you need, please contact the IEC webmaster for assistance.
