Joint Task Force between CISPR/A and SC77B on Fully anechoic rooms (FARs)

A project outline was attached to CISPR/A/505/NP. A JTF was formed by CISPR/A and SC77B to investigate the use of fully anechoic rooms in Jan 2002. The questionnaire forming the JTF set the goal of covering emissions and immunity test methods and site validation in a "single document/standard". For this purpose, the JTF prepared and recommended an outline for a new document that will emphasize the reciprocity between radiated emissions and immunity measurements by harmonization of the site validation and test techniques. This includes harmonizing facility requirements and validation criteria, the equipment required for both tests, test setups, and measurement/scanning techniques whenever possible.
Individual tasks will be identified by the JTF and a work plan developed in order to accommodate the set project time line.
