Protection of electronic devices against static electricity

To prepare a standard on the general requirement for the
protection of electronic devices against static electricity.
This standard shall apply only to the manufacturers and use of
electronic devices and assemblies.

The following documents shall be used as a basis for this
future standard:

-The european standard EN 100 015 and its present revision,

-The proposal 47(Germany)794,

-The committee draft 47(Secrétariat)1330 and the relevant
compilation of comments to be issued by the Secretary of TC 47,

-Any other relevant document or national standard.

This task shall be lead in close collaboration with TC 47
(through official liaisons) in order to ensure that specific
requirements for active devices will be met.
