Critical current measurement method of Nb3Sn composite superconductors
To develop a method for the critical current measurement on
Nb3Sn composite superconductors produced by the bronze process
or the internal Sn diffusion process with or without ternary
addition. Round wire, lc<1000A, B<0,7Bc2, Cu vol%: 10-70%,
n>10, T=4,2K. The Nb3Sn wire is used in much higher magnetic
fields, and much more sensitive to mechanical strain than the
NbTi wire. (See New Work Item Proposal 90(Secretariat)15 and
