To prepare guidelines dor Decentralized Rural Electrification (DRE) projects which are now being implemented in developing countries. The content of the document will be a resource for the identication of energy requirements, and also of products which are technically best suited within the economic context. This document is intended to be used as a reference in assessing the quality of the service to the end users. It is to be used by the project supervisor and, in general, all those responsible for establishing calls for tender.
