WG 9

Heating and cooling equipment


To develop IS relating to heating and cooling equipment.

1) 61010-2-011: Particular Requirements for Refrigerated Equipment
Examples: Laboratory equipment such as laboratory refrigerators, freezers, refrigerated display cabinets and equipment incorporating refrigerated condensing unit;

2) 61010-2-012: Particular Requirements for Climatic and Environmental Testing and Conditioning Equipment
Examples: a) Climatic and environmental test chambers, such as equipment in accordance with testing procedures of IEC 60068 and/or MIL-STD-810 G; b) Climatic test chambers for plant growth study and similar biological applications, such as equipment based on Project of NCR-101, Controlled Environment Technology and Uses; c) Stability test chambers for drug substance and products, such as equipment in accordance with testing procedures of Q1A(R) and Q1B of ICH Harmonised Tripartite Guideline; d) Refrigerated baths and circulators, such as equipment meeting requirements of DIN 12876; e) Refrigerated and/or heating incubators with the capability to add humidity or CO2; f) Shaking baths and incubators;

3) 61010-2-010: Particular requirements for laboratory equipment for the heating of materials
Examples: Laboratory equipment for the for the heating of materials such as heating baths, circulators, incubators, ovens, chambers, furnaces, and heating plates;
