Measurements of Environmental Radiation

To prepare standards on instrumentation to measure radiation and contamination to which members of the public may be exposed to, either from natural radiation or as a resut of normal operation or emergency conditions from any nuclear facility. The standards will cover measurements of dose rtes, contamination levels of both water and ground, and airborne spectrometers.

Note: It is essential that the Working Group should take into
account the recommendations of ICRP, ICRU and IAEA.
