Carlos Rodríguez (2006-2011)

 

Carlos Rodríguez has been INTECO (Instituto de Normas Técnicas de Costa Rica) Executive Director since 1996.

After leading the IEC Affiliate Country Programme for five years, he is now IEC Affiliate Coordinator for Latin America.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mesai Girma (2003-2006)

 

 

Mesai Girma was Director General of QSAE (Quality and Standards Authority of Ethiopia).

 

He joined QSAE in 1990 as Head of the Quality Control Division, then moved on to Head of the Quality Assurance Department in 1993, a position he held until April 1995, when he became Director General of QSAE.

 

 

 

 

Gene Hutchinson (2002-2003)

 

 

Gene A Hutchinson - first Affiliate Leader - was Managing Director of the BOBS (Botswana Bureau of Standards), after serving ten years as Executive Director of the TTBS (Trinidad and Tobago Bureau of Standards).

 

In addition to his role as Leader of the IEC Affiliate Country Programme, he was Chairman of ISO DEVCO, the ISO Committee on Developing Country Matters.
