Commenting

With your participation, it is hoped that your organization will soon be in a position to submit comments on technical documents through the Affiliate Country Programme Secretariat.

 

The IEC gives its Affiliates the possibility to submit comments on documents at CD stage (Committee Draft) and CDV stage (Committee Draft for Vote). Your comments will, it is hoped, ensure that IEC International Standards are more relevant for all end-users worldwide, offering your contribution on a specific technical subject.

 

Our job is to ensure that your country participates actively in the IEC Affiliate Country Programme, we will therefore forward your comments to the relevant technical officer(s).

 

To access the appropriate section on our website, please proceed as follows.

 

 

How to comment?

 

1. Go to the List of IEC Affiliate Country Programme Participant.

 

2. Click on your country.

 

3. Click on the tab Documents Open for Comments.

 

4. Use your login granted by the Affiliate Secretariat, selecting CD and/or CDV documents, clicking on the PDF.

 

5. Download the Comment form with the same login, fill in and send it to the Affiliate Secretariat.

 

 

Recommendation: We strongly recommend to start commenting on a CD document, as it is the first stage for a new project.
