The mission of the IEC Asia-Pacific Regional Centre (IEC APRC), located in Singapore, is twofold: promote awareness of the IEC in the region, increase the use of IEC international standards and enhance participation of all countries in the region in the Commission's work; and provide additional staff support to technical committees and subcommittees in the same way IEC Central Office does at present. Dennis Chew is the Officer in Charge.

North America |

The IEC Regional Centre for North America (IEC-ReCNA) provides additional staff support to technical committees and subcommittees in the same way IEC Central Office does at present. Located in Worcester, Massachusetts, near Boston, the IEC-ReCNA was opened to service the needs of IEC technical committees, particularly those with secretariats located in North America. IEC-ReCNA is an extension of the normal operations of the Central Office and operate under its direction. Tim Rotti is the Officer in Charge. |
