Bus transportation
NEW ! Free bus and tram tickets are available for travellers arriving at Geneva airport. A ticket machine dispensing free tickets is in the luggage collection area, on the left just before going through customs customs. The ticket is valid for 80 minutes in all of Geneva.
From Geneva Cointrin airport
to Geneva Cornavin train station - Bus no. 10 (runs every few minutes).
It is also possible to take a train from the airport to the train
station.
From Geneva Cointrin airport to IEC Central Office (stop: Place
des Nations) - Bus no. 28 (runs every 30 minutes).
From Geneva Cornavin train station to IEC Central Office - Bus no. 5 (stop:
Varembé), bus no. 8 (stop UIT) and tramways no. 13 and 15 (stop Sismondi or Nations) (run every few minutes).
You must purchase a ticket from the machines located
at the bus stops before getting on to the bus. You will need change
(single tickets cost CHF 3). The drivers do not sell tickets.
Tickets give unlimited access to the bus and tram network for 1
hour. Consider using a day pass (carte journalière). You
can also purchase pre-paid cards, called "cart@bonus",
which allow you to obtain tickets without the need for small change.

Cost from airport to IEC Central Office or Geneva
Cornavin station: around CHF 30.-
Walking
It will take you approximately 15 minutes to walk
from Geneva, Cornavin station to the IEC Central Office.
