Total IEC Central Office sales of IEC Publications were encouraging, reaching a total of CHF 5,28 million in 2010, up 7,4% compared to 2009. Once again, the IEC Webstore broke its own record with sales totalling more than CHF 3,89 million, an increase of 17% compared to 2009.

 

TC/SC sales: Top 10 by quantity

 

 

With a total of 1 110 publications sold, IEC TC (Technical Committee)104: Environmental conditions, classification and methods of test, took the top spot for sales in 2010, followed by IEC TC 20: Electric cables, with 958 publications.

IEC 62087-BD, Methods of measurement for the power consumption of audio, video and related equipment, was in the lead in 2010, followed by IEC 61000-4-2, Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-2: Testing and measurement techniques - Electrostatic discharge immunity test, IEC 61000-4-4 am1, Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-4: Testing and measurement techniques - Electrical fast transient/burst immunity test (Amendment 1), and IEC 60529, Degrees of protection provided by enclosures (IP Code).
